    This field day will cover topics related to in-field and edge-of-field conservation practices, such as two-stage ditch construction and use, cover crops, and the use of Phosphorus filters to manage excess soil P. Our keynote speaker will be discussing water management and in-field practice research results.

  2. Now Offering ACPF Training and Support On-Demand

    ACPF is a watershed planning tool that can be used to identify potential locations where conservation practices could fit in a watershed based on the landscape. The tool uses publicly available data layers and GIS software to identify a menu of conservation
    options for landowners and watershed planners to choose from. OSU Extension is offering free, on-demand, support and training for ACPF to interested groups in Ohio’s Western Lake Erie Basin.

    Best Management Practices (BMP) Field Day is an event focused on issues pertaining to Phosphorus usage and impacts on the environment. The major goal of the field day is to engage stakeholders about BMPs and methods to enhance nutrient use efficiency (mainly Phosphorus) and decrease fertilizer runoff.
