NON-POINT SOURCE IMPLEMENTATION PLANS (NPS-IS)
Through a grant from OEPA our team is currently developing NPS-IS plans for 14, HUC-12 watersheds throughout the Western Lake Erie Basin, locations of these HUC-12s are shown in the map below. These strategic plans provide the basis for Ohio EPA Section 319 Funding within that watershed. The process includes various outreach and research based tasks before bringing the information together into a plan. One major part of these plans is utilizing ACPF (Agricultrual Conservation Planning Framwork tools to generate conservation maps for specific watersheds. Some of the specific watershed ACPF work can be viewed by visiting our link. The plans are intended to be utilized by those within the watershed and updated regularly. Links to approved and published plans will be availible on our website once complete.
